Built from a passion for helping people and a deep respect for small business.
The Small Business Post was built on the belief that small businesses deserve support that feels practical, honest, and human.
Growing up with a father in the trades, I saw firsthand how much work goes into keeping things moving behind the scenes. Long days, physically demanding work, problem solving, showing up no matter the conditions, and still finding time to help the people around you.
My dad was and still is a lineman, and growing up, even after long hours at work, he was constantly helping others. Whether someone needed something fixed, guidance on a project, or simply an extra hand, he showed up.
He was the kind of person people could count on. The kind of person who built trust through reliability, kindness, consistency, and hard work.
Watching that growing up shaped the way I view both business and people.
I learned that the businesses and people others remember are not always the loudest or the biggest. They are the ones who communicate honestly, treat people well, work hard, and genuinely care about what they do.
That mindset became the foundation for how I approach business today.
The Small Business Post would never have existed without my dad. Literally and figuratively, so much of who I am comes from watching how hard he worked and how much pride he took in helping others.
Watching that taught me that good work matters, but so does the way you treat people while doing it.
That philosophy is at the center of everything I do through The Small Business Post.
I started this business because I saw how overwhelmed so many small business owners were trying to manage everything themselves. Marketing often becomes one more thing sitting on the back burner, not because business owners do not care, but because they are busy doing the actual work that keeps the business running.
I wanted to create something that felt approachable and genuinely useful. Not oversized agency retainers or complicated marketing jargon, but practical support that helps businesses grow in a way that actually makes sense for them.
Today, The Small Business Post focuses on supporting small businesses, especially trades and service-based businesses, through marketing, social media, websites, branding, client communication, and business support systems.
To me, this work is about more than marketing.
It is about helping businesses communicate clearly, look professional, stay organized, and create a better experience for the people hiring them.
Most importantly, it is about helping good people grow businesses they are proud of.
